Asbestos Lab Analyst - Colchester

Job Description

Our client is an asbestos consultancy offering a range of professional and quality services to clients nationwide. They are now seeking a highly qualified Asbestos Lab Analyst to join their busy team in the Essex area, including applications from Colchester and surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience

• Must hold a P401 asbestos certificate (or equivalent P402/P403/P404/P404/S301 CCP).
• Prior experience working in a laboratory environment within the asbestos arena.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Competent in using the Microsoft Office package.

Key Tasks

• Receive and appropriately log samples into the laboratory system.
• Prepare samples for analysis and carry out fibre content analyses.
• Complete analysis test sheets promptly and ensure workload is completed within required timeframes.
• Perform any other duties as required.

Attributes

• Flexible, detail oriented and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
• Strong IT skills.
