Asbestos Contracts Manager

Job Description

Position: Asbestos Contracts Manager (also known as Asbestos Contract Manager, Asbestos Site Manager, Asbestos Contract Supervisor)

Location: London, Greater London (serves local authority, social housing, educational, and industrial sites across the South East)

Salary & Benefits: £30k - £65k + Benefits

Responsibilities

• Carry out visits to a mixed portfolio of sites to gather information for quote production, prepare timely quotes, and pass them on to clients.
• Oversee a team of site staff, ensuring work is carried out on time and in line with relevant Health and Safety regulations.
• Assign site staff to jobs, ensuring they have the right tools and equipment to work safely.
• Carry out appraisals for site staff.
• Efficiently manage licensed and non licensed asbestos removal projects.
• Produce monthly management reports.
• Efficiently manage new and existing accounts.
• Produce bespoke risk assessments and method statements.
• Liaise with clients, dealing with any issues and queries.
• Provide clients with invoices upon completion of work.
• Complete ASB5 documents and submit them to the relevant authority.
• Continue building and maintaining excellent working relationships with clients.

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong background working in the asbestos industry.
• Strong technical, management, and removal skills.
• Extensive knowledge of relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
• Excellent IT skills.
• Holding the ARCA Contracts Manager ticket is beneficial.
• Effective communication skills (phone, email, face to face).
• Experience with or knowledge of P401/P402/P403/P404/P404 or S301 CCP.

Consideration will be given to candidates from the following areas: Watford, Cheshunt, Harlow, Hertford, St Albans, Bishop's Stortford, Stevenage, Luton, Aylesbury, Milton Keynes, Slough, Windsor, Reading, High Wycombe.
