Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Wound Closure & Endo Surgery

Location: There are two locations. The first one would be covering London/South of UK and the second one would be covering Birmingham/Midlands region

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to lead sales efforts in the Wound Closure & Endo Surgery segment. This role is ideal for an individual with strong sales acumen, healthcare industry experience, and a passion for driving growth in surgical solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding market presence, achieving sales targets, and building strong relationships with healthcare professionals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive business growth within the assigned territory.
  • Achieve sales targets and objectives for wound closure and endo surgery products.
  • Identify and establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, including surgeons, hospital procurement teams, and healthcare professionals.
  • Provide product demonstrations, training, and technical support to customers.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product management, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and reports for management review.
  • Conduct regular customer visits and participate in industry events, conferences, and training programs.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in medical device sales, in wound closure, endo surgery selling sutures, staplers, mesh etc
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and expanding market share.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts effectively.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the designated region.
