Serving clients across the manufacturing sector, we offer a broad portfolio of high-quality products and bespoke solutions. As part of our ongoing growth, we're looking to appoint an Area Sales Manager to represent my client across the .
The Role
As a Area Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for developing business within your region, managing existing accounts and identifying new opportunities. You'll be the first point of contact for many of our customers and will play a key role in representing the brand out in the field.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Meeting and exceeding regional sales targets
- Conducting site visits, technical product demos, and project consultations
- Collaborating closely with the internal engineering and support teams
- Providing regular reports on sales activity and market feedback
- Managing a portfolio of existing accounts to maximise value.
- Delivering insightful reporting to the Group Managing director.
What You'll Need
- Proven experience in B2B sales in the Engineering industry is essential.
- Solid understanding of engineering processes and client requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills with a consultative sales approach
- Highly motivated and Results driven.
- Self-starter with excellent time management and managing your own diary
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Previous account management experience and customer- first approach
- Organised and planned approach to creating sales opportunities.
- A strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
