Location: North London (Territory: Greater London) Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum + OTE £38,000 Benefits: Company car or allowance, 25 days annual leave, onsite perks, pension, discounts, and more

We're seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Executive to grow our footprint in the waste management and environmental services sector. If you're passionate about sustainability, resource efficiency, and helping businesses reduce their environmental impact-this is your opportunity to make a difference.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across Greater London, focusing on waste management and recycling solutions
  • Develop tailored proposals for commercial and public sector clients, including industrial, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing sectors
  • Promote sustainable waste strategies including zero-to-landfill, circular economy initiatives, and carbon reduction
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Technical, Legal, HR, Finance) to co-design winning service packages
  • Use Salesforce CRM to manage leads, track customer interactions, and drive retention and growth
  • Support integrated FM solutions where waste and environmental services are part of broader operational packages
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience in waste management, recycling, or environmental services
  • Strong understanding of sustainability and low-carbon solutions
  • Business development experience, ideally within industrial or manufacturing sectors
  • Operational and technical knowledge of waste systems (desirable)
  • Ability to interpret financial models and deliver commercially viable solutions
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confident presenter with experience in bid management and proposal delivery
  • Demonstrated success in lead generation and client growth
  • Commercial awareness and negotiation skills
