At Cavendish Nuclear, we're working to create a safe and secure world. Join us as an Area Health and Safety Lead at our Hinkley Point C site.
This is a brilliant opportunity to work as part of the MEH Alliance on the prestigious Hinkley Point C Nuclear project. The alliance coordinates the delivery of Mechanical, Electrical, Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning (MEH), cabling, and support services, enabling different contractors to work as a single entity for complex installations.
The role
As an Area Health and Safety Lead, you'll be involved in a major project with national significance. Your responsibilities include:
- Acting as the first point of contact for H&S Advisors and escalating unresolved issues.
- Overseeing HSE advisors' KPIs and supporting accident investigations.
- Recording audit and inspection findings in line with HSSE management systems.
- Building relationships with Tier 1 contractors and the Principal Contractor.
- Monitoring working practices regarding health, safety, environment, and welfare.
This role is full-time and onsite at Hinkley Point C near Bridgwater.
Essential experience
- Excellent communication skills to explain HSE procedures.
- Working knowledge of health and safety regulations.
