We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Archive Assistants to support the day-to-day delivery of Renfrewshire's archive service at an exciting time of transformation. As the archive service prepares to relocate into the transformed Paisley Museum, this is a unique opportunity to help shape how people access, explore and connect with Renfrewshire's archival collections.
Working closely with the Archivist, Heritage Researchers and colleagues across the museum service, you will help deliver a welcoming and accessible service for visitors, researchers and local communities. You will play an important role in supporting access to collections, responding to enquiries, facilitating public engagement activities and ensuring visitors receive a high-quality experience.
This role will involve regular weekend working as part of a rotating rota, with a variety of shift patterns available to support service delivery.
Number of roles available: 2x 14 hours and 2x 21 hours
