Location: Wakefield
Salary: £34-38,000

I'm working with a well-established, award-winning multidisciplinary practice in Wakefield that is looking for a motivated Architectural Technologist to join its growing design team. Following several recent commissions, there is a varied workload across Residential, Education, and Industrial and Logistics schemes.

The Role:

• Produce and coordinate technical drawings, schedules and specifications across RIBA Stages
• Support technical delivery across a range of sectors
• Coordinate information with consultants and contractors
• Develop BIM models from concept to completion on site
• Prepare and monitor planning and Building Regulations submissions
• Respond to site queries and RFIs
• Work with minimal supervision

The Ideal Architectural Technologist:

• Chartered Architectural Technologist (MCIAT)
• Honours Degree, or HND/HNC/Apprenticeship with relevant experience
• Sufficient experience in a UK architectural practice
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
• Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and British Standards
• Experience of planning and building control
• Strong communicator, proactive and independent
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car
