Architectural Technologist

Overview

As an Architectural Technologist you will be joining an architectural practice based in Dublin City that is growing its project pipeline. The practice works across multiple project typologies and currently exposes you to Residential, Healthcare, Hospitality and Commercial projects.

Your New Role

As an Architectural Technologist there are both junior and intermediate roles available. You will understand how to produce technical details on drawings, create planning applications which should go through successfully and understand the building regulations applicable to the project to ensure an efficient transition of the project from design stage to build. The role offers a collaborative work environment and a focus on CPD training to keep you up to date on current construction methodologies. Overall this role provides autonomy with support as needed to help you grow and thrive in your career.

Job Requirements

For this role you should hold a degree in Architectural Technology and be able to demonstrate your experience on projects in Ireland. Candidates who have worked on Residential, Healthcare, Commercial or Hospitality projects in Ireland will be at a distinct advantage. You should be able to communicate your understanding of Irish building regulations and construction methodologies. You should also be proficient using BIM/Revit software, as this is the package used in the practice. Experience on residential and commercial projects would be an advantage but is not necessarily required if your portfolio demonstrates experience elsewhere. Site experience, conducting site meetings and meeting with stakeholders will be an advantage as well.
