HKS Architects is hiring anArchitectural Designerwith 0 to 5 years of experience. You'll be based out of their office inSingapore . This is an opportunity to collaborate on exceptional design and delivery for clients.HKS Architects is looking for someone who exercises independent judgment in evaluation, selection and use of standard techniques , and solves problems when encountered.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with project team and senior designers on conceptual design, development, and production to meet project goals and deadlines.
• Applies creative input and expands on others' concepts to support overall design intent.
• Produces and modifies design drawings, 3D renderings, presentations, and implementation documents.
• Participates in client presentations and project proposals to develop strong client relationships.
• Understands construction techniques, building regulations, and engineering principles to inform design.
• Coordinates with consultants, contractors, and regulatory bodies to meet project objectives.
• Assists with researching materials, requirements, and costs to support design development.
• Resolves complex design challenges with innovative, practical solutions.
• Organizes and presents project designs to client groups or public audiences.
• Helps manage client expectations, communication flow, and consultant coordination.

Qualifications

• Accredited professional degree in Architecture or related field
• Typically 0-5 years of experience
• Proficiency in Revit
• Proficiency in architectural software such as 3D modeling (including Rhino and Grasshopper, 3D Studio MAX, etc.) and AutoCAD preferred
• Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign graphic software preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite preferred
• Knowledge of sustainability and integrated design guidelines preferred
• Experience with the entire project lifecycle, through post-occupancy preferred
• Knowledge of materials, construction techniques and building codes
