Location: Sheffield

Salary: £35-38,000 DOE

About the company:

An award-winning multidisciplinary architecture and urban design practice in Sheffield is looking to appoint a Qualified Architect to support its expanding portfolio of residential, mixed-use, and commercial projects. The studio is recognised for delivering thoughtful, sustainable, and design-led architecture across a broad range of sectors and project scales. Applications are welcomed from newly qualified architects through to those with several years of post-Part 3 experience. The role offers the opportunity to take ownership of projects within a collaborative Revit-based BIM environment.

Daily Duties

  • Leading and coordinating projects through all RIBA stages
  • Preparing planning, technical and construction information
  • Managing Revit models and BIM project coordination
  • Liaising directly with clients, consultants and contractors
  • Attending and leading meetings and site visits
  • Supporting junior team members and mentoring assistants
  • Producing detailed technical packages and specifications
  • Contributing to design development and project strategy

Ideal Candidate

  • ARB registered Architect
  • Newly qualified architects and those with several years of post-Part 3 experience are encouraged to apply
  • Strong technical and design capabilities
  • Good knowledge of UK building regulations and construction detailing
  • Proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows preferred
  • Experience across residential, mixed-use, or commercial sectors beneficial
  • Excellent communication and project coordination skills
  • Ability to manage workload effectively within a collaborative studio environment
  • Passion for thoughtful, sustainable, and high-quality architecture
  • Candidates already living locally within Sheffield, or the surrounding area would be preferred
