As an Apprentice Water Operative, you'll be part of a supportive, practical team working on clean water networks across the North-West, gaining valuable hands on experience and building a career that makes a real impact.

About the Role

As an Apprentice Water Operative, you'll learn how to maintain, repair, and inspect water network assets, helping support our clients deliver safe, reliable water to homes and businesses every day. You'll be supported by experienced colleagues who will teach you the ropes, encourage and support, whilst helping you grow your confidence out in the field. This is a physically demanding role requiring regular lifting, prolonged standing, and working in a fast-paced environment.

You'll complete the Level 2 Water Network Operative Apprenticeship, giving you nationally recognised skills whilst working on the job, completing meaningful work from day one.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting with day to day maintenance and repair of clean water networks
  • Learning how to locate, isolate and fix issues within the water system
  • Supporting planned and reactive works across a variety of sites
  • Working safely and professionally as part of a friendly operational team
  • Gaining hands on skills that genuinely set you up for your future career
Experience and Qualifications
  • Likes being outdoors and hands on
  • Enjoys learning new thingsIs reliable, curious, and up for a challenge
  • Works well in a team
  • A full UK driving licence is ideal (but not essential to start)
