Where you'll be working: As a Machining Technician Apprentice (Level 3) at Baxi you'll be working within the components team in Preston, reporting to the Setter Team Leader. You'll be working as part of a team focused on setting a variety of CNC machines, manual and auto presses, including Coil fed presses to make ready for Operators to use them safely and correctly.Your responsibilities: To set and operate a variety of CNC controlled machines, Hydraulic and mechanical presses, and press brakes within the component's facility. Read and understand engineering drawings. Carry out inspection to designated quality standards and procedures.
