This role is ideal for someone starting their career in construction who is eager to learn, detail oriented, and interested in how complex projects are coordinated from start to finish.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation, updating, and maintenance of project programmes using industry standard planning software.
  • Work with the planning team to gather progress information from site teams and update schedules accordingly.

  • Learn how to analyse construction sequences, methods, and productivity to support accurate planning.
  • Attend site visits to understand construction activities, constraints, and progress.
  • Assist in maintaining planning documentation, including method statements, phasing plans, and logistics information.

  • Participate in training, mentoring, and development activities as part of your apprenticeship programme.

  • Team focused with an ability to communicate and build strong relationships with people at all levels.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to change (shift work and travel may be required).
  • You should have a strong work ethic and willingness to take responsibility for your academic and vocational development.
