Apprentice Parts Advisor

Renault Truck Commercials is pleased to offer a Parts Apprenticeship based at our dealership in Tipton. As an apprentice you will supply parts to our customers and work closely with our workshop technicians.

This is an 18 month apprenticeship that combines hands on depot work with online learning modules and visits from the apprenticeship provider. A driving licence is preferable to assist with parts deliveries where needed.

• Trade counter and telephone based customer sales and enquiries
• Automotive parts identification and product knowledge
• Stock control and goods handling
• Digital systems and parts ordering platforms
• Health, safety and legal responsibilities within parts operations
• Professional communication and teamwork in the workplace

The programme runs for up to 18 months, combining structured apprenticeship training with additional technical development.

Apprentices take part in regular learning sessions alongside their day to day role while building a portfolio of evidence that demonstrates their occupational competence.

The programme also integrates additional technical learning aligned to the SCQF Level 5 Diploma in Vehicle Parts Principles, strengthening apprentices' understanding of modern parts operations and emerging vehicle technologies.

At the end of the programme apprentices complete an End Point Assessment Window, where they demonstrate their competence through:

• Knowledge test
• Real life workplace observation
• Professional discussion supported by a portfolio of evidence
