Apprentice Butcher

We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and hard working individual who is keen to learn the meat trade and be part of a busy retail premises.

Main Duties-

cut or prepare meats to specification

maintain equipment and work areas to meet health and sanitation standards

The ideal candidate will be able to -

Issue and demonstration of safe working procedures for tools and equipment
Maintain effectiveness of tools and equipment
Ensure a safe working environment to meet Food Hygiene requirements
Ensure a hygienic working environment to Food Hygiene requirements
Cleaning down at close of day is essential and required
Must have at least 2yrs relevant experience

Monday to Saturday - 8:00am - 5:30pm

Day off to be confirmed when job commences

Salary dependent on experience, to be discussed at interview stage
