Appointments to the College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise (CAFRE) College Advisory Group

We are seeking five members to represent the following sectors:

Equine

International Relations

Production Horticulture

Secondary Education

Sustainability in the Supply Chain

These are 3 year appointments starting from 1 January 2026.

The CAFRE College Advisory Group provides advice at a strategic and operational level to the CAFRE Management Team. It meets up to 5 times per year for full days at various CAFRE locations.

The College provides education, knowledge transfer and innovation programmes to the Northern Ireland agriculture, food, horticulture, equine and rural enterprise sectors. The delivery of these programmes is in line with the DAERA Knowledge Framework, which aims to ensure that individuals, organisations, and businesses within the Agri- Food industry have access to high quality, relevant and accessible education, knowledge transfer and innovation programmes to improve environmental performance, productivity, resilience and sustainability.

Daily remuneration of £252 and travel expenses will be paid.
