Job Description
- Application Support Manager
- Salary up to £110,000 + up to 30% and benefits
- Hybrid working in London, UK
We are looking for an Application Support Manager to join a large end user in London supporting multiple on-premise and native cloud deployments.
Permanent role with hybrid working patterns, offering an excellent salary package (£90,000 - £110,000, bonus up to 30% and great benefits).
Key experience required:
- Proven technical experience in an Application Support Manager role, supporting teams in regulated environments
- Experienced in managing incidents, business impact and risk assessments, crisis management (P1 and P2 incidents), root cause analysis, change coordination, resource planning, and workload prioritisation
- Strong knowledge with Microsoft technologies - C#, VB.NET, SQL, IIS, and .NET Core
- Experienced with Azure, Docker, and AKS
- React and web service architectures (REST APIs, SOAP) experience
- Experienced with Dynatrace, Azure Application Insights, or other similar tools.
- Strong understanding of service management tools - ServiceNow, JIRA Service Desk
- Stakeholder management skills
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the end-to-end support life cycle for business applications
- Manage Incident and Problem management for all Retail applications
- Escalation point for major incidents (P1 and P2)
- Communicate with business and technical stakeholders to enhance support services
- Define and monitor key metrics, KPIs, and dashboards to measure team effectiveness and service quality
- Proactive incident detection for all Retail applications
- Improvement of processes and technologies
- Bug fixes and security enhancements
