Job Description

We are looking for an Application Support Engineer to join our client's team in Zurich.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Take full ownership of 1st and 2nd level support for the platform and applications
  • Partner directly with Front Office traders, providing fast and effective solutions
  • Maintain system stability and availability, handling day-to-day operational issues
  • Coordinate and support production releases to ensure smooth deployments
  • Investigate incidents thoroughly and drive them to resolution
  • Identify recurring issues and proactively improve systems and processes

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT support, engineering- ideally in a financial environment
  • Strong knowledge of Securities Lending & Borrowing systems (FIS SFTC)
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, databases, Unix/Linux, and Scripting
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
