Application-oriented professorship (100 % or by arrangement) for "Green Supply Chain Management" (m/f/d) We are looking to fill an application-oriented professorship for "Green Supply Chain Management" (m/f/d) at the Faculty of Business and Economics at Steinbeis University to be filled in employment in Berlin as soon as possible. The assignment for Steinbeis University will take place at the Steinbeis University, Schools of Next Practices in Berlin. For the herein professorship, we are looking for an academically proven personality who has gained extensive experience in positions of responsibility within and outside the university and would now like to pass this on to our students in teaching and applied research. In addition, this professorship is intended to include the assumption of management and coordination functions regarding the further development of international degree courses. Your tasks: You will further develop our degree programs and develop cooperative degree programs with other universities. You develop cooperations with companies and research institutions to obtain third-party funding for research and degree programs. You will independently carry out research and teaching tasks in your subject areas. You will take on tasks in the academic management of the Steinbeis University - Schools of Next Practices. You will supervise and coach students in their applied research project in their field of study. You will evaluate students' works and master theses research. There may be business trips throughout Germany and international. Your profile: You have a Ph.D. degree from a recognized university in supply chain management, operations management, sustainable management, economics or a related field to the denomination. You have extensive teaching experience in supply chain management and sustainable management and related courses in international environments. You have designed and prepared syllabi and course materials for the classes you have taught. You have extensive years of conducting academic and applied research in relevant topics to green supply chain management. Ideally, you have managed research projects and led research teams. You have applied experience working in organizations in roles as a researcher, supply chain manager, operations manager, sustainable manager. You have international experience in supervising students in their thesis and research projects. You have presented your research in international conferences and published relevant articles in international scientific journals, in addition to your dissertation. You have been a board member, editor or contributor in scientific journals or conferences in your field. You have several years of management experience in the academic field, i.e. as Program Director, Head of Department or in similar functions with international experience. You have the ability to work in a team, initiative and a keen interest in scientific research. You are fluent in written and spoken English. Other languages are a plus.
