Location: 2-3 days onsite per week in Newcastle Upon Tyne, rest remote

IR35 Status: Inside

Duration: 6 month initial contract

Rate: £311pd

About the Role

We are seeking a new talent to join the Software Engineering team where you will have the opportunity to collaborate in the project.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications.
• Utilize modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.
• Act as a subject matter expert, collaborating with and managing the team to perform effectively.
• Take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Design and implement innovative software solutions that meet client requirements.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high quality standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather and analyse requirements.
• Continuously improve software development processes and methodologies.
• Mentor junior team members and share knowledge to foster a collaborative environment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Node.js is required.
• Advanced proficiency in AWS DevOps & Development, GitLab CI/CD, and GitLab is recommended.
