Job Title: Java Support Developer
Location: North Dublin (Onsite - 5 days per week)

The RoleWe are seeking a Java Support Developer to join a collaborative, office based engineering team in North Dublin. This role combines hands on Java development with technical support, system investigation, and close collaboration across development, QA, and infrastructure teams. It is ideally suited to someone looking for long term stability and growth within a supportive organisation.
Key Responsibilities Java Application Support & Development- Investigate, triage, and resolve application issues
- Develop and deploy code fixes and enhancements using Java (currently Java 8)
- Exposure to frontend frameworks such as JSF or PrimeFaces is advantageous
- Write and optimise SQL queries
- Diagnose and resolve data related issues within Microsoft SQL Server
- Monitor and analyse logs across AWS services
- Investigate CloudWatch and infrastructure alerts
- Implement corrective actions and preventative solutions
- Manage incidents, tasks, and projects using Jira
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution
- Support and manage customer clocking devices
- Maintain and troubleshoot a bespoke Java middleware component
- Provide general network troubleshooting and support
- Cisco experience (CCNA or equivalent) is beneficial but not essential
- Create and maintain build configurations
- Manage deployments using Jenkins
- Support Single Sign On (SSO) implementations using SAML and OIDC
- Work closely with QA teams on defect tracking
- Assist with bug investigation, resolution, and validation
- Fully onsite role in North Dublin (Monday-Friday)
