What you'll do

As an Analytics Lead, you'll set the strategic direction for data and analytics within the Economic Crime Hub, maximising the value of our data assets to drive real-world outcomes. You'll lead the end-to-end analytics lifecycle, from problem definition through to production decisioning and measurable impact, while leading a high-performing, multidisciplinary team to deliver decision-grade analytics and build a modern, scalable capability across data, analytics,and AI. You'll also drive measurable reductions in fraud and financial crime risk through data-led decisioning and innovation.

Working closely with strategy, technology,and operations teams, you'll translatestrategicpriorities into scalable solutions embedded within business processes. You'll drive high-quality analytics delivery, maintain strong governance and regulatory compliance, demonstrate customer, financial,and risk outcomes through clear performance metrics, and continuously strengthen the Hub's analytics capability through leading practices and external insights.

In addition, you'll be:

  • Defining and executing the Data, Analytics & Assurance (DAA) strategy aligned to Economic Crime Hub priorities
  • Driving measurable impact, reducing fraud and financial crime risk through data-led decisioning
  • Leading and developing a high-performing team across analytics, insight, and decision science
  • Building modern analytics capabilities, leveraging data, AI, and automation to scale decisioning
  • Accountable for delivering decision-grade analytics from concept to live deployment
  • Acting as a senior advisor to stakeholders, shaping how data is used to improve customer and business outcomes
  • Leading innovation in how data and analytics are used across the Hub, including AI-led decisioning
The skills you'll need

We're looking for someone with deep technicaland domainexpertis in Fraud and Financial Crime, combined with strong leadership and delivery capability. You'll have to bring strong leadership experience in data and analytics, ideally within financial services,fraud,or financial crimeenvironments, as well as a proven ability to deliver large-scale, business-critical analytics programmes with measurable outcomes.

To succeed in this role, you must alsobe ableto translate strategy into execution, aligning analytics delivery with business priorities, anddemonstratestrong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior and executive levels.

In addition, you'll need:

  • Experience leading teams to build and deploy production-grade analytics anddecisioning solutions
  • A track record of building and developing high-performing teamsExperience embedding analytics into business processes, operating models, and decision frameworks
  • A deep understanding of data management, governance, and regulatory requirements
  • High levels of drive, ownership, and resilience, with the ability to operate at pace in a complex environment
