About the Role & Team

Our current hybrid working policy requires you to work from our Hammersmith office 4 days per week and 1 day from home.

The Disney+ team in EMEA is responsible for the ongoing performance, operations, and growth of Disney+ across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, focusing on marketing, customer acquisition and retention, partnerships and synergy, content programming, research, and analytics.

We are looking for a highly skilled and detailed analyst to join our Disney+ Analytics & Insights EMEA team working in London, with a focus on designing, developing, and maintaining our key data models and analytics solutions. You will collaborate across the Analytics & Insights team and with key stakeholders to gather requirements, implement data pipelines, ensure data accuracy, integrity, and availability, with the goal of developing self-service solutions. The analyst will also contribute to delivering timely insights to inform initiatives across Disney+ EMEA, including regular reporting and self-serve solutions.

This is a pivotal role within Disney+, driving our self-serve capability and enabling the democratization of insights generation that directly influence business decisions and action plans across the region.

What You Will Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines to collect, process, and transform data from various sources into analysis-ready formats.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including the Analytics & Insights team and business users, to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

  • Implement data models, schemas, and ETL workflows supporting data analysis, reporting, and visualization.

  • Develop and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate large datasets efficiently.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, ensuring data quality, reliability, and performance.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to monitor key metrics and provide regular performance updates to stakeholders.

  • Present clear insights and implications to stakeholders, with actionable recommendations.

  • Assist in automating manual processes to improve efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Excellent proficiency in SQL is essential.

  • Experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or similar roles.

  • Experience with data warehousing technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, and/or dbt.

  • Proficiency in developing data pipelines and data models.

  • Ability to translate requirements into efficient, scalable solutions.

  • Knowledge of orchestration and version control tools like Airflow and GitHub.

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau.

  • Collaborative working style and desire to share knowledge.

  • Positive attitude and passion for teamwork.

  • Attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

  • Adaptability to changing needs and meeting deadlines.

  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable stories.
