About the Role & Team

Our current hybrid working policy requires you to work from our Hammersmith office 4 days per week and 1 day from home.

The Disney+ team in EMEA is responsible for the ongoing performance, operations, and growth of Disney+ across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, focusing on marketing, customer acquisition and retention, partnerships and synergy, content programming, research, and analytics.

We are looking for a highly skilled and detailed analyst to join our Disney+ Analytics & Insights EMEA team based in London, with a focus on designing, developing, and maintaining our key data models and analytics solutions. You will collaborate with the Analytics & Insights team and key stakeholders to gather requirements, implement data pipelines, ensure data accuracy, integrity, and availability, with the goal of developing self-service solutions. The analyst will also contribute to the delivery of timely insights to inform initiatives across Disney+ EMEA, including regular reporting and creation of self-serve tools.

This is a pivotal role within the Disney+ business, driving our self-serve capability and democratizing insights generation to support business decisions and action plans across the region.

What You Will Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines to collect, process, and transform data from various sources into usable formats for analysis.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including the A&I team and business users, to understand their data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Implement data models, schemas, and ETL workflows to support data analysis, reporting, and visualization needs.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate large datasets efficiently.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, ensuring data quality, reliability, and performance.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to monitor key metrics and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Present clear insights with implications and recommended actions to various stakeholders.
  • Assist in automating manual processes.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Excellent proficiency in SQL is essential.
  • Experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, Analytics Insight, or similar roles.
  • Experience with data warehousing technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, and/or dbt.
  • Experience in data pipeline and data model development.
  • Ability to build efficient, robust, and scalable solutions based on requirements.
  • Knowledge of orchestration and version control tools like Airflow and GitHub.
  • Deep knowledge of data visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau.
  • Collaborative working style with a desire to share knowledge and enable team growth.
  • Positive, enthusiastic, and team-oriented attitude.
  • Attention to detail to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
  • Ability to adapt to changing needs while meeting deadlines.
  • Proven experience translating complex data sets into clear, actionable insights.
