About this RoleBridges Fund Management is seeking a proactive Analyst to join its Private Equity team. This role offers the opportunity to engage with the entire investing cycle and contribute to impact analysis, portfolio management, and value creation. The successful candidate will gain broad exposure to private equity transactions and work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to drive strategic objectives. Responsibilities will include conducting market research, assessing new investment opportunities, and supporting valuation processes, all while ensuring alignment with Bridges' impact-focused mission.
Responsibilities- Contribute to the impact assessment of potential investments using Bridges impact tools and frameworks.
- Support on regular impact analysis and reporting, aligning with industry standards.
- Coordinate the collection of impact and operational data from portfolio companies.
- Liaise with portfolio companies to support the implementation of impact initiatives.
- Support value creation initiatives across the portfolio.
- Organize and support internal portfolio review meetings.
- Conduct market research on identified sectors.
- Assist in building and maintaining a pipeline of potential investment opportunities.
- Contribute to the screening and assessment of new investment opportunities.
- Assist with quarterly valuation exercises and streamline the fund's valuations process.
- 1-2+ years of experience in management consulting, investment firm, banking, or accounting.
- Degree level education or equivalent experience.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for working with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent financial and modelling skills.
- A proactive self-starter with strong financial, commercial, and people skills.
