Analyst - Private Debt

The role is supporting our existing deal professionals over the entire deal cycle, from origination to closing and monitoring direct lending and parallel lending investments to supporting the wider private debt platform.
Key Responsibilities
Investment Process:
- Assist with review of information materials and due diligence reports
- Assist with memos for our investment committee
- Financial modelling with particular focus on scenario analysis
- Comparable transactions and precedent financing analysis
- Desktop research
Execution:
- Involvement in closing and funding of transactions
- Involvement with our existing portfolio investments (reporting and valuation process)
Other:
- Preparation of marketing materials for investors in collaboration with the internal marketing team
- Maintenance of deal trackers and other internal tools
Key Requirements/ Skills
- Strong fundamental finance and analytical skills
- Capability to quickly advance on the learning curve
- Proactivity to assume tasks outside of the typical day-to-day tasks
- Keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint
- Solid academic track record
- Fluency in English is essential and ideally German and Scandinavian languages. (French and other European languages would be a plus)
Education, Knowledge, Skillsand Experience
University degree
IMC or equivalent or studying/looking to study for the IMC
Relevant investment management industry experienceuseful but not essential
Excellent Microsoft Word, Exceland PowerPoint skills
Excellent presentation, writing and oral communication skills
Highly motivated team player
