Job Description

Cpl are delighted to be partnering with a leading technology organisation seeking an experienced Analog and Mixed-Signal Design Engineer to support the development of high-performance semiconductor products.

This role offers the opportunity to work on advanced analog and mixed-signal circuits within modern CMOS technology nodes, contributing to complex IC designs used in high-speed applications.

The Role

You will take a senior technical role in the design and development of analog and mixed-signal circuit blocks, working across the full design lifecycle from concept through to verification and production support. The position also involves collaboration with cross-functional and international engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and development of analog and mixed-signal IC circuit blocks in advanced CMOS technologies
  • Ownership of circuit design from initial specification through simulation, verification, and sign-off
  • Collaboration with physical design and systems teams to deliver complete IC solutions
  • Technical input into architecture and design reviews
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced engineers when required
  • Work effectively with global teams across multiple locations and time zones
Key Requirements
  • Degree qualified in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related discipline
  • Experience in CMOS analog and mixed-signal IC design
  • Understanding of signal integrity, noise, and timing-related design challenges
  • Experience designing common analog and mixed-signal blocks such as amplifiers, drivers, receivers, clocking or bias circuits
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Proficiency with industry-standard IC design and simulation tools
  • Experience with advanced or scaled CMOS technology nodes is beneficial
  • Lab or silicon validation experience is advantageous
