Analog Mixed-Signal Design Engineer

We are supporting our client who are seeking an Analog Mixed-Signal Circuit Design Engineer to help develop next-generation precision timing solutions powered by MEMS technology. These products support a wide range of applications-from cutting-edge networking and communications infrastructure to ultra-low power mobile and wearable devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design analog and mixed-signal circuits in alignment with architectural goals and technical specifications
- Contribute to system architecture and design integration at the chip level
- Run detailed calculations and simulations to verify performance at schematic and post-layout stages, accounting for DFT (Design for Test) and DFM (Design for Manufacturing)
- Collaborate closely with layout engineers to ensure optimal layout implementation using best-known practices
- Document circuit blocks and lead both preliminary and final design reviews
- Participate in silicon bring-up, lab evaluation, and characterization-especially for circuits you designed
- Work cross-functionally with teams in Product Engineering, Test, Characterization, and Applications to support and troubleshoot your blocks
- Support additional projects based on evolving business priorities
Qualifications
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering
- Strong academic background with demonstrable research implemented in silicon
- Deep understanding of CMOS analog circuit design and noise analysis
- Coursework and design experience in at least one of the following areas:
-Integer-N and fractional-N PLLs
-Temperature sensors
-Sigma-delta ADCs
-Analog/digital filters
-Differential and cascode amplifiers
-Low-noise buffers
-High-speed drivers
-Sub-threshold circuits
-Low-noise regulators and bandgap references
-Familiarity with MATLAB and Verilog-A
-Proficient with Cadence analog design environment
-Capable of managing critical block layout
