AMHP / Mental Health Practitioner

To cover and support the AMHP duty desk during business hours, the role involves:

1. Triaging Mental Health Act assessment referrals.
2. Supporting Section 13 visits with other professionals where appropriate.
3. Supporting AMHP candidates who are on placement.
4. Assisting the mental health hospital discharge team with MCA's and 117 meetings if required.

Work is primarily office-based for up to 20 weeks due to the nature of the role, with some flexibility available upon advanced agreement.
