About the Practice

We are a tier 3 veterinary hospital near Liverpool and Manchester, providing advanced diagnostic and surgical services in a training focused environment.

Role Overview

An experienced veterinarian is required to join our Out of Hours team. You will provide high quality care to patients during overnight shifts, manage cases from start to finish, and monitor hospitalised inpatients in an emergency and critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical and surgical care to out of hours patients.
• Monitor and manage hospitalised inpatients.
• Work closely with two RVNs overnight.
• Collaborate with a knowledgeable team and support 16 veterinary practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• Registered veterinarian with strong clinical and surgical skills.
• Passion for emergency and critical care; additional qualifications in ECC are advantageous.
• Experience working in a tier 3 or similar environment preferred.

Rota

Seven consecutive night shifts on, followed by seven nights off. Shifts run from 8:30 pm to 8:30 am.
