Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Inclusion Service Support Team, in the Education Inclusion Service. This team is responsible for delivering a range of business support functions within the Inclusion Service.

The Education Inclusion Service comprises a range of services responsible for improving outcomes for children and young people with additional learning needs (ALN). The service works with schools and other education settings to support identification, assessment and support for learners with ALN.

About the job

In this role, your primary responsibilities will focus on financial and administrative processes, including processing invoices, raising and creating purchase orders (POs), and ensuring all purchasing activity is accurately recorded. You will be responsible for maintaining and updating spreadsheets to support financial tracking, reporting, and data accuracy.

In addition to these core duties, you may be required to support broader administrative and service functions. This may include collating and preparing case information for local authority panels, managing statutory correspondence, and ensuring the effective filing and organisation of information. You may also support Inclusion Leaders by overseeing the management, recording, and tracking of referrals.

Further responsibilities may involve providing administrative support for team meetings, stakeholder meetings, task and finish groups, and project groups. This includes taking and distributing accurate and timely minutes to ensure clear communication and appropriate follow-up actions.

What We Are Looking For From You

We are looking for a highly organised, 'can do' individual with excellent interpersonal skills, experience of managing financial processes as well as experience in invoice processing and data entry responsibilities. You will have the ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines. You will need to work effectively as part of a team and be flexible and adaptable to meet the changing needs of the service.
