Join us and contribute to making a positive community impact. We are seeking a dedicated All Age Transport Commissioning and Contracts Manager to lead our All Age Transport service.
The role focuses on strategic and technical leadership for developing the All Age Transport brokerage service. Key responsibilities include:
- Initiation, commissioning, management, evaluation, and progression of transport projects.
- Management, maintenance, and analysis of datasets and transport data/services related to the service.
- Procurement scope, monitoring, and management of transport contracts.
- Providing strategic input into development plans and policies.
- Implementing transport policies and strategies.
- Integrating internal resources to drive value and innovation.
- Developing demand response transport services.
Additional key responsibilities:
- Manage and develop the All Age Transport brokerage function.
- Under the supervision of the Head of Commissioning, manage staff, consultants, and contractors to deliver services effectively.
- Manage team resources to meet income targets, and innovate service delivery.
- Lead, motivate, train, and appraise a multidisciplinary team of transport professionals, and develop partnerships to deliver optimal outcomes in line with council standards and vision.
