Job Description
Tasks
  • Design, develop, and implement algorithms tailored to Sentec systems, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and reliability.
  • Embedded Software Development: Develop and maintain embedded software applications in C and C++, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Software Specification and Verification Documentation: Produce detailed and accurate software specification and verification documents, outlining software functionalities, requirements, and standards.
  • Performance Optimization: Regularly evaluate and optimize the performance of software applications, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Test Framework and Coverage Improvement: Enhance and refine the test framework, aiming to increase the test coverage and ensure the robustness of software products.
  • Supporting Regulatory Efforts: Assist in regulatory compliance and documentation efforts related to algorithm development, ensuring adherence to industry standards and legal requirements.
  • Performing statistical and/or mathematical programming, developing reports and visual representations, developing and/or maintaining databases
  • Helping prepare manuscripts for publication
Required Skills and Qualifications
    • University degree in a technical / scientific field (Master or PhD)
    • Experience with statistical data analysis and modeling, pattern recognition
    • Proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g. Matlab / Octave, R, SQL, Python, etc.)
    • Ability to design experiments / studies to answer specific questions and test hypotheses
    • Experience in software development with C, C++
    • Experience with automated testing platforms and unit tests
    • Very good command of English (spoken and written)
    • Motivated to draw insights from data, develop new solutions and make an impact on patient care
