Aircraft Maintenance Track Lead

Department: Engineering

Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time

Location: Gamston Airport, Retford

Reporting To: Lee Wilkinson

Description

DEA are looking for a Track Lead to join the Engineering Team based at Gamston Airport (EGNE).

Key Responsibilities
  • Project management of your respective track including development, monitoring of KPI's and reporting to Engineering Management.
  • Managing safety, regulatory compliance, and operational performance.
  • Leadership and management of your team providing engineering decisions and guidance.
  • Coordinate available resources and manpower with the shift supervisors to react to operational priorities
  • Correct resourcing and tooling of track for maintenance inputs from pre-input and throughout maintenance.
  • Recency of all company and regulatory requirements.
  • Effectivity of track handovers
  • Standard of engineering functions on track.
  • All technical staff working within your supervision carry out their duties in a safe and proper manner and in accordance with the relevant Maintenance Manuals, and MOE.
  • Correct and timely completion of all aircraft documentation relating to the maintenance activities performed.
  • Areas under management are kept clean and tidy.
  • Evaluate all existing standards, practices, and procedures with a view to continuous improvement.
  • Ensure error and safety reports are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Prioritising tasks and scheduling requirements for your track.
  • Development of the team and associated apprentices
  • Achieve optimal aircraft maintenance performance; maintain excellent customer and stakeholder relations
  • Promote a "Just Culture" with regard to safety and reporting of occurrences within the business
  • Integration of third parties and both contracted and sub-contracted agencies in accordance with the MOE
  • Any other duties deemed reasonable by line management and within the scope of company authorisation

Essential Qualifications
  • Leadership/Management ILM (Level 2/3)
  • HF Initial/Continuation
  • SMS Training
Preferred Qualifications
  • Aircraft Maintainers License (CAA Pt-66 B1/B2 & C)
  • Type Approved on KA 90/200/300 and Diamond DA42/62
