An experienced and skilled Gas & Air Source Heat Pump Installer is required to take on a varied role involving installation, servicing, and maintenance across both domestic and commercial properties. You will be responsible for:
- Installing and servicing hot water cylinders, thermal storage systems, and heat pumps
- Carrying out central heating installations, upgrades, and repairs
- Supervising on-site works and providing technical support to colleagues
- Diagnosing faults and completing maintenance to ensure systems run efficiently
- Working on plumbing, sanitation, and HVAC systems (planned and reactive)
- Ensuring compliance with PAS 2030, MCS installation standards, and Gas Safe regulations
- Participating in overtime and call-out duties as required
- Accurately recording all work activities using PDA or similar systems
- Following Health & Safety regulations and reporting hazards or incidents

- Strong knowledge of domestic and commercial heating systems
- Experience with PAS 2030 standards and installation evidence
- Skilled in commercial fault finding and rectification
- Familiarity with BMS and control systems
- Competent in various pipework installation methods, including press-fit systems
- Excellent technical and problem-solving ability
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Domestic Plumbing or City & Guilds equivalent
- Level 3 Award in Installation & Maintenance of Heat Pump Systems (C&G, BPEC, or LCL)
- G3 Unvented Hot Water Cylinder Certification
- Water Regulations Certificate
- Experience with Heat Interface Units (HIUs)
- Solar system knowledge (Level 3 RFQ)
- F-Gas qualification
- Electrical qualifications (17th / 18th Edition)
- Experience in control system rewiring
