AI Security Architecture & Advisory Lead - Competitive salary and bonus on offer for the right person. London Flexible/Hybrid (Global Team)

We're looking for a strategic, security-focused architecture leader to help us shape the future of AI in a secure, scalable, and responsible way.

While the role is titled "Architecture" (for now), this is not a hands-on engineering post. Its a senior advisory position designed for someone with a deep background in security architecture and a strong understanding of the AI landscape - someone who can assess architectural proposals, ensure regulatory readiness, and guide our teams through fast-moving challenges and opportunities.

What you'll Do

  • Act as a strategic advisor and reviewer for AI-related architecture and technical designs, across GenAI, predictive analytics, automation, and beyond
  • Partner with Information Security, Legal, Enterprise Architecture, Data Science, and C-Suite leadership to embed security and compliance into AI initiatives from the ground up
  • Ensure alignment with global regulations (including EU AI Act) and standards (like ISO 42001 and NIST AI RMF)
  • Develop and maintain security frameworks, architecture patterns, and risk management practices tailored to AI systems
  • Communicate complex risks and recommendations clearly and persuasively across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Drive maturity in our AI security and governance capabilities - we re ahead of the curve, but there's always room to improve
What You Bring
  • Minimum 7 years of experience as a security architect in a large-scale, complex organization
  • Demonstrated success in the secure design, implementation, and support of AI systems
  • Solid grasp of design and architecture principles, security controls, and AI-related risk management
  • Working knowledge of frameworks like ISO 42001, NIST AI RMF, and regulations such as the EU Artificial Intelligence Act
  • Strong technical writing and oral communication skills, capable of producing clear architecture documentation and influencing stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven ability to work effectively with remote and geographically distributed teams
  • Collaborative mindset: you're a team player who builds respectful, co-operative relationships with colleagues, vendors, and leadership across functions and cultures.
