AI Researcher - Berlin (Relocation + Visa Sponsored) - €100K-€150K + Equity

We're hiring a brilliant Researcher to join a fast-growing startup in Berlin. This is a rare opportunity to join an early-stage team building cutting-edge recommendation technology, already used by hundreds of global customers and growing rapidly.

You'll work closely with engineering, product, and commercial teams to design and ship real-world solutions at scale. This isn't just about theory or experimentation, it's about delivering research that matters.

What You'll Do

• Design, train, and deploy production-ready models that power Real Time recommendations
• Collaborate with engineering to bring models from prototype to production
• Work with commercial teams to understand user needs and translate them into research-driven solutions
• Contribute to shaping the product roadmap with data-driven insights and creative ideas
• Continuously experiment, test, and iterate on model performance in real-world environments

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience building and shipping models or data-driven tools (ideally in a fast-moving environment)
• Strong background in Python and experience with modern ML frameworks (eg, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar)
• Familiarity with large datasets, model validation, and performance optimization
• A creative, pragmatic mindset, you're not afraid to experiment, fail fast, and learn quickly
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, you'll be working cross-functionally with engineers and commercial teams
