Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the senior management team and lead the Speech and Language Therapy service across North Highland.

Leadership and Service Management

The postholder will provide professional and strategic leadership for a diverse range of specialist and generalist services across inpatient, outpatient and domiciliary settings. This includes services delivered across community, mental health, primary care and acute pathways. The role will assess the resource implications of policies and plans, support effective service delivery, and contribute to the achievement of strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

The postholder will manage the service and associated clinical staff across North Highland, including budget responsibility, line management, procurement and recruitment. They will also be responsible and accountable for service strategy, including quality, professional standards, workforce planning and development, education and research.
