Agricultural Machine Mechanic

Position Overview: ALB Global Recruitment, on behalf of a prominent client, is currently scouting for a seasoned Agricultural Mechanic to fill a pivotal role within our team. The preferred candidate should demonstrate proficient English language abilities and a robust expertise in mechanical repair and maintenance, with a focus on agricultural machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on agricultural equipment, including tractors, combines, harvesters, and irrigation systems.
2. Diagnose mechanical issues and implement appropriate solutions to ensure optimal performance and efficiency of equipment.
3. Perform scheduled inspections to identify potential problems and prevent equipment breakdowns.
4. Collaborate with other team members to prioritize and complete repair tasks in a timely manner.
5. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and hours spent on each job.
6. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
7. Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
8. Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to coordinate work schedules and address any concerns or issues.
9. Uphold company standards of professionalism, integrity, and quality in all aspects of job performance.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Mechanical Technology or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in agricultural equipment repair and maintenance.
• Proficiency in intermediate-level English language skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment used in agricultural machinery repair.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed, especially during peak seasons.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
