Agricultural Engineer - Service Technician (Field & Workshop Based)

Location: Fulbourn and surrounding areas

Hours: Full time, standard working week with overtime available

Salary: Basic DOE +

We are recruiting for an experienced Agricultural Engineer / Service Technician to join a well established team covering the Fulbourn & surrounding areas. This mixed field and workshop based role involves the servicing, maintenance, and repair of modern agricultural machinery, along with breakdown response and planned maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair agricultural machinery
• Carry out mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diagnostic fault finding
• Work on modern equipment including tractors, combines, GPS, and telematics systems
• Complete planned maintenance and breakdown repairs
• Liaise with customers and provide technical support
• Maintain accurate service records and job reports
• Work independently and as part of a team when required
• Follow all health and safety procedures

Skills & Experience Required

• Experience as an agricultural, plant, or heavy machinery engineer
• Strong diagnostic and fault finding skills
• Experience with modern agricultural systems preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage workload
• Strong customer facing communication skills
• Good mechanical and electrical knowledge
• Full UK driving licence required
