Agricultural Engineer Required in the Winchester Area

• Agricultural Main Dealer
• Hourly Rate up to £18 p.h.
• 42.5 Hour Working Week

Hourly rate in excess of up to £18 per hour plus overtime.

Our client is looking for experienced Field Service Engineers based in Hampshire.

You will be responsible for servicing and repairing agricultural, construction, and plant equipment to an extensive and varied customer base throughout the area.

Your key responsibilities as an Agricultural Engineer include:

• Onsite customer support for machinery within the region
• Maintaining machinery through scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections
• Completing jobs to a high standard promptly and within deadlines
• Developing and maintaining good relationships with customers
• Providing excellent customer service
• Working independently to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Ensuring safety standards are met for work and personal equipment
• Supervising apprentices when required to ensure quality and safety

Key skills our client is looking for:

• NVQ level or equivalent in Plant/Land-Based Mechanical Engineering
• Ability to service a wide range of heavy tracked plant machines
• Investigate and diagnose technical problems
• Good interpersonal, customer, and commercial awareness
• Efficient, flexible, and able to work independently
