  • Embed agile principles and practices across Sainsbury's Tech, partnering with leadership, teams, and stakeholders to enable early and continuous delivery of customer value.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement in ways of working across Sainsbury's Tech through catalysing effective and sustainable change.
  • Showcase emerging agile tools and techniques, developing awareness and understanding to support effective adoption in practice.
  • Work with leadership, teams and stakeholders to develop shared awareness of improvement opportunities across Sainsbury's Tech. Developing insights and data to inform regular cycles of reflection and improvement.
  • Grow an effective agile community of practice, building excellence around the active sharing of knowledge, insights and experiences across the breadth of the organisation.
  • Develop coaching strategy, focus and priorities aligning to the wider Sainsbury's Tech vision and strategy.
More about you
  • Knowledge and significant experience of applying a range of Agile/Lean/DevOps principles and practices.
  • Understanding of technical and business agility practices, and their role in enabling the early and continuous realisation of value.
  • Understanding of agile software development practices.
  • Experience in enabling transformation and improvement across a range of teams.
  • Exceptionally developed coaching, mentoring, teaching and facilitation skills with teams and individuals.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and experience of working in matrix structures.
  • Innovative and focused on continuous improvement, comfortable challenging the status quo and enabling change.
  • Able to motivate and lead others as a coach.
  • Evidence of coaching skills at a senior level.
Essential Criteria
  • Deep understanding of Agile/Lean/DevOps principles and practices.
  • Proven experience coaching teams and leaders at different levels of agile maturity.
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence organisational change.
