Agency Social Worker - Kinship Assessments - Barnet Council

Our client, Barnet Council, is seeking an agency Social Worker for its Carer Assessment team.

This role will last 3 months initially, paid at up to £37.52 per hour.

The role will involve the following:

• Undertaking viability assessments of family & friends for children needing permanency
• As well as progressing to full Special Guardianship and Connected Carer Assessment.
• This role involves preparing reports for Court.

Requirements of the role:

• Qualified Social Worker
• Fully Social Work England registered
• 3 years post-qualified experience in employment of a local authority (DFE rules)
• Must have demonstrable skills and experience of completing all types of Kinship assessments (Viability assessments, Special Guardianship assessments and Connected Carer assessments).
