Agency Social Worker - Children's Social Care

Our client, Brent Council, is seeking an agency Social Worker for its Children's social care team.

This role will last 3 months initially, paid in line with London/DFE pay rates.

The role will involve the following:

• Court report writing
• Giving evidence in court.
• Managing court work from first to final hearing.
• Completing s.7 and 37 reports.
• Managing children on child protection plans and the Public Law Outline.
• Completing parenting assessments.

Requirements of the role:

• Qualified Social Worker
• Fully Social Work England registered
• 3 years post-qualified experience in employment of a local authority (DFE rules)
• Significant post-qualified experience of children's social care social work
• Experience of child protection and court work
