Joe Duffy Volkswagen North is seeking a dynamic, ambitious Aftersales Manager to lead one of Ireland's largest and highest-performing service departments. This is a rare operational leadership opportunity for a driven professional to take full strategic and day-to-day responsibility for our technical, service advisory, and parts departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and motivate a high-performance team of established service technicians, service advisors, and parts advisors.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations of the workshop and service lane to maximise workflow efficiency, technician productivity, and resource utilisation.
• Customer Experience: Drive a culture of exceptional customer service, ensuring all queries, maintenance requests, and vehicle downtimes are handled efficiently to maintain elite brand loyalty.
• Financial Performance: Achieve financial and operational KPIs, managing departmental budgets, cost control measures, and aftersales profitability.
• Manufacturer Compliance: Ensure full compliance with Volkswagen Group brand standards, warranty procedures, and technical campaign requirements.

What We Are Looking For

• Proven Track Record: Solid experience as an Aftersales Manager, Service Manager, or Workshop Manager in a high-volume main franchise dealership environment.
• Commercial Acumen: Strong financial literacy with deep knowledge of managing dynamic budgets, technician efficiency metrics, and aftersales marketing strategies.
• Technical Understanding: While a technical background (e.g., former technician) is highly valued, outstanding operational leadership and sharp problem-solving skills are essential.
• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal abilities to effectively coordinate with customers, dealer staff, and corporate manufacturer stakeholder.
