JOB TITLE: Afternoon Cleaner

LOCATION: 4/5 Lochside View, Edinburgh EH12 9DH

SHIFT PATTERN: Monday to Friday 1pm-6pm, 25 hours per week

PAY RATE: £12.71 per hour

ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE

Your role will be to deliver cleaning services to client facilities in and around the building to a high standard. Cleaning floors in building reception areas, including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up larger objects off the floor, and spot cleaning glass doors/windows, clean all stainless steel fixtures and barriers/glass door panels, dry mop black marble pillars inside and external.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clean and sanitize lifts, wipe all external and internal stainless steel on lift doors, frames and lift runners, wipe down and remove all smudges from mirrors, sweep and mop floors.
• Clean restrooms/showers, empty trash, sanitize fixtures, clean mirrors, clean shower cubicle partition doors and walls, sweep and mop tile floors.
• Set up, stock and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Monitor and maintain sanitation and organisation of assigned areas.
• Assist team leaders/supervisors when needed to ensure optimum service to clients.
• Comply with monthly training sessions delivered by the supervisor or line manager as necessary.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to use own initiative to identify and prioritise tasks.
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
• Approachable and courteous manner.
