Purpose of the Role

To support young people leaving care as they move into independent living, acting as a Personal Advisor and ensuring they receive consistent, high-quality support.

• Full-time position
• Location: Trafford
• Pay: £19.11 per hour
• Driving licence: Essential

Day-to-Day Tasks

• Provide Personal Advisor support in line with the Children Leaving Care Act 2000
• Complete regular visits, welfare checks, and maintain accurate case records
• Support with housing applications, budgeting, benefits, education, employment, and practical life skills
• Develop and review Pathway Plans with each young person
• Offer emotional support, guidance, and advocacy
• Work closely with housing, health, education, and community partners to deliver coordinated support

Requirements

• Experience supporting young people
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage a caseload
• Full UK driving licence
