Overview

We are expanding our ultrasound service and are looking for enthusiastic Sonographers to help shape its future. Qualified reporting Ultrasonographers will work across purpose-built units with state-of-the-art ultrasound machines in Obstetrics, General, and Community Diagnostic Centres.

Main duties

You will provide scans across obstetrics, abdominal, gynaecology, small parts, musculoskeletal, and vascular imaging, making a real difference to patients across our hospital sites and community settings.

What you'll bring
  • Ultrasound qualification (Diploma in Medical Ultrasound).
  • State registration and at least 1 year of practical NHS ultrasound experience.
  • Ability to scan abdominal, gynaecology, obstetrics, small parts, and DVTs.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Additional musculoskeletal or vascular qualifications are an advantage.
Person Specification Education and Qualifications
  • oDCR(R) or BSc
  • oPost Graduate Ultrasound Qualification in Obstetrics, abdominal, gynecology and vascular
  • oEvidence of Continuing Professional Development
  • oHCPC Registration
Occupational Experience
  • One year previous NHS experience / employment
  • Driving Licence
