What you will do

• Lead and support decision making within the First Response Team, ensuring safeguarding thresholds are applied consistently.
• Provide advanced practice guidance and consultation to social workers handling initial referrals and assessments.
• Undertake complex statutory assessments and risk analysis in line with safeguarding legislation.
• Support multi agency strategy discussions and contribute to effective early decision making.
• Assist with quality assurance activity, ensuring high standards of practice and recording.
• Promote child centred, strengths based practice across the front door service.
• Ensure timely, accurate documentation and adherence to statutory timescales.
